Skin on Frame Kayak Class – June 8-10, 2018

Learn how to make a traditional Aleut Baidarka – an ultra-light skin on frame kayak from scratch. These are extremely fast and light kayaks, super fun to build and uses no metal fasteners or glue. All parts and supplies provided, and expert instruction to guide you through step-by-step. By the end, you will have an authentic sea-ready kayak for summer fun.

Classes are 9am to 5pm with instructor.  Extra non-instructor time is available in evenings.

There is room for 6 people with a minimum of 4 for class to proceed.

Cost: $1200 for materials and instruction. $400 deposit required on registration, remainder due before classes commence. If minimum attendance is not reached, or classes postponed, deposits will be refunded fully.
